Given the great number of approaches to historical study, you can expect to cover and master a variety of skills throughout the year, including:

  • Critical reading: non-fiction and fiction
  • Academic writing: essays, 5 paragraph themes, research papers
  • Research: independent, source cards
  • Primary Source Analysis: textual, fine art, political cartoons, speeches, etc
  • Data Analysis: statistics, etc
